- Lower overall cost. Trusts offer several options and alternatives at lower or higher predictable fixed costs for benefits.
- Proactive review by legal counsel and plan administration looks to identify and remedy issues before they become disruptive.
- Security. Up to date Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Protected Health Information (PHI) services which comply with Patient Protection Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and ACA regulations, as well as ERISA, Department of Labor and in some cases the IRS.
- The Trust files one annual 5500 along with any corresponding regulatory filings. For employers with more than 100 employees in the medical plans the Trust filing will suffice.
